We are to be people of the presence of God.
We are a vessel designed for the express purpose of carrying the presence of Almighty God inside
Our body is the temple of the living God
Spirit of the antichrist is trying to dwell where Christ should dwell in our hearts (the abomination that causes desolation Daniel and revelation is set up in the temple of God.)
Daniel 12:11 and Matthew 24:15
In Deuteronomy ALONE, Idolatry is referred to as an abomination many times. When we set up ANYTHING on our hearts where Jesus belongs it is an abomination.
The spirit of the antichrist has been trying to steal the church through idolatry since the first days of Christianity
I John 4:1-3 NKJV
[1] Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. [2] By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, [3] and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
Revelation 18:4-8 NKJV
[4] And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. [5] For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. [6] Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her. [7] In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.’ [8] Therefore her plagues will come in one day—death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her.
Babylon represents the patterns of the world and us satisfying our own senses.
We must not make a mockery of God in our lives. “God is not mocked” “do not test the Lord your God”
Galatians 6:7-8 NKJV
[7] Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. [8] For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
Matthew 4:7 NKJV
[7] Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’ ”
Deuteronomy 6:16-19 NKJV
[16] “You shall not tempt the Lord your God as you tempted Him in Massah. [17] You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, His testimonies, and His statutes which He has commanded you. [18] And you shall do what is right and good in the sight of the Lord, that it may be well with you, and that you may go in and possess the good land of which the Lord swore to your fathers, [19] to cast out all your enemies from before you, as the Lord has spoken.
When we live double minded lives we are not choosing God we are conceding to the enemy
